Tara honed her expertise at the largest US based global Labor and Employment Law firm and due to her impact, has collectively led, managed and advised leaders, departments, organizations and divisions dedicated to being diverse, inclusive, equitable, welcoming and creative environments in their fields, including ALM 100 Law Firms, Fortune 500 companies, non-profit, governmental and state/public agencies and educational institutions. Ms. Bedeau has received past honors including being named as a “Top Mover and Shaker in Diversity” by a prominent national industry association, and has been appointed to various leadership and culture change committees, groups and boards.
Addressing matters within her collective areas of expertise, Tara has been an Educator, Trainer, Speaker and Consultant as well as a featured keynote, panelist, broadcast commentator and media guest at local and national gatherings, conference, events and venues. In addition, she has authored several publications and has been guest faculty at prominent institutions. Ms. Bedeau has traveled and lived throughout the globe, studying and participating in instruction pursuant to personal and professional wholeness, wellness and development.
Ms. Bedeau graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.). with a concentration in Public Law from Cornell Law School, and a Masters in Religion (honors earned) at Union Theological Seminary, a Columbia University Institution. Ms. Bedeau has been awarded a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). She has completed certifications in Mediation and Conflict Resolution hosted at the University of California, Berkeley, and in Organizational Development and Change Management. She has completed training in Appreciative Inquiry (AI).
