In House Attorney
Software Licensing | Data Protection | Cybersecurity | Privacy | Due Dilligence | Antitrust
Our candidate obtained her LLM from UC Berkeley School of Law, formerly Boalt Hall and graduated in the top 3% of her law school class at an International University. She has passed both international and US bar exams, always on her first sitting.
She practiced with a law firm her first year out of law school and then went in house with the HFC Bank where she practiced for 5 years. In that position, she gained strong in-house experience drafting a variety of agreements including software licensing and vendor agreements. While in this position she also gained exposure to data protection, cybersecurity, privacy, and information security risks at a very high level due the nature of her work within a financial institution. Our candidate next obtained her LLM from Berkeley school of Law, Boalt Hall, with a specialization in Business Law.
Since earning her LLM, this has been gaining US based experience in long term contract positions including serving for 3 years with her local County Attorney’s office handling a high volume of transactional and advisory matters, as well as overseeing pre-litigation issues. In that role she spent 60% of her time handling contracts and agreements for the county. Our candidate left that position during the pandemic because the work was becoming more and more administrative. She sought greater intellectual stimulation even if that stimulation would be found in shorter term assignments. She found that stimulation in a series of assignments with FICO, where she handled due diligence in preparation for a large transaction. Among other activities, she conducted an antitrust investigation, prepared research for the master services agreement, and reviewed countless other licenses and agreements. FICO had her return to their project twice. Our candidate also recently interviewed with, and was offered a highly competitive position with our client Culture Amp Inc. That position unfortunately was restructured, however, her interviewers highly recommend her to other employers. In person, our candidate is eloquent, poised, extremely intelligent, hard working, calm, and diplomatic – all the things we seek in a strong technology attorney. She is outstanding.
